The Role
We are looking for an Operations Excellence & Inventory Specialist who will be responsible for developing and upholding global replenishment standards to optimize inventory management for Finished Goods (FGS) and Accessories. This role plays a lead role in the Operations Excellence team supporting Global & Market Supply Chain teams to manage inventory more effectively – balancing cost, lead time and service level.
Your main responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Responsible for Finished Goods inventory replenishment and fulfillment parameters.
- Responsible for compiling and distributing inventory forecast and budget data.
- Regular analysis of replenishment parameters and recommend improvements to optimise inventory (lead times, routing review, safety, segmentation codes etc.), matching our products’ demand and supply characteristics.
- Responsible for Inventory KPI reporting and analysis, providing quality insights for monthly micro enterprise packs.
- Represent supply chain (FGS inventory) on cross functional projects.
- Support implementation of best practise inventory management procedures across global functions and markets.
- Lead regular sessions with Market Demand and Inventory Teams around Backorder/Stock Availability/DIFOT/Slow Moving & Obsolescence (SLOB) initiatives.
- Support Markets with Finished Good related queries tied to replenishment (JDE ERP system) or fullfilment (Global Order Promising
Master Data Management:
- Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring items, supersession dates, and replenishments parameters are correctly set up for replenishment purposes.
- Support system maintenance of key global systems / tools (JDE/Vanguard/GOP).
- Develop super-user understanding to support training and guidance for users of key supply chain tools
About you
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a complex manufacturing or Supply Chain business.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across teams and functions to support an efficient supply chain.
- Proven expertise in navigating both upstream and downstream supply chain processes to identify and resolve root causes of replenishment gaps and delays.JDE experience is desirable.
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Data Science or 3+ year of relevant work experience. APICS qualified an advantage.
