Tradestaff have a variety of Plumbing jobs across the Bay of Plenty region. Bay of Plenty will be the predominate area of work for this role – however you may also be required to work in the Waikato and Hawkes Bay Regions. This will be discussed further with the successful applicant.
We are looking for Plumbers with background knowledge and experience with the following (but are not limited to):
studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
setting out and installing hot and cold water systems and associated equipment
installing water-based fire protections systems, including fire hydrants, hose reels and sprinkler systems
designing and installing sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures
fabricating and installing soil and waste stacks
assembling and installing mechanical services plant, air handling and conditioning equipment and small bore heating systems
installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems
installing below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems
installing gas appliances, flues and pressure regulating devices
fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashings
Ideally, you will be or have:
Minimum 3+ years’ experience
Trade qualifications preferred however scope and length of plumbing experience may substitute for the formal qualification
Relevant NZ PGDB License preferred
Your own tools
Own reliable transport
At least 2 work references
100% commitment to Health & Safety
Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Class 1 preferred but not essential
