Job Description

Are you a skilled Welder Fabricator looking for your next opportunity? Tradestaff is seeking an Experienced Welder Fabricator to join one of our clients based in Tirau, Waikato.
If you take pride in your craftsmanship and enjoy working on a variety of fabrication projects, this role is for you!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding and fabricating steel, aluminum, and other materials to specifications.
  • Interpreting and working from technical drawings and plans.
  • Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Operating workshop machinery and tools with precision.
  • Collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines.
  • Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication (at least 3+ years).
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • A reliable and safety-conscious approach to work.
  • Relevant welding certifications (advantageous but not essential).
  • Physically fit and capable of working in a busy workshop environment.
