The Company
My client is a leading specialist Geotechnical Consultancy with offices in New Zealand and Australia, they are a mid-sized, privately owned consultancy who delivering geotechnical services across New Zealand on a wide variety of projects.

They are a successful team with a strong reputation for working collaboratively with their clients to provide them value-engineering and pragmatic geotechnical solutions.

Their project portfolio spans a range of projects, including roading, land development and commercial/industrial infrastructure. They have strong, high level technical expertise, excellent working relationships and a focus on work/life balance.

Due to growth and increased demand they are looking for an Intermediate or Senior Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologists to join their Auckland Hamilton and Tauranga teams

The Role

  • Preparing proposals and reviewing contract documentation
  • Client management and development
  • Managing site investigation and ground modelling
  • Geotechnical analysis and design
  • Preparation of reports and correspondence
  • Project management, contract review and budget control


About You

  • Passion for geotechnical engineering.
  • Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology degree and 3+ years’ experience in a geotechnical consultancy.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on results.
  • Experience in geotechnical investigation, ground modelling and the design and construction monitoring of temporary works, foundations and retaining walls will be advantageous.
