Kia ora! I'm Khorshed Tarapore, the Manager in Credit Risk Analytics at Heartland. We're looking for a Credit Risk Analyst or Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Credit Risk Analytics team based in Newmarket, Auckland.

You'll work within our Credit Risk Analytics Team and be responsible for providing quantitative analysis and insights on strategic decisions and business problems.

You'll be naturally inquisitive and want to dig deeper to find solutions to problems for a variety of stakeholders.

Hungry to own and deliver, you've got:

  • A Bachelors degree in either Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Engineering
  • Enjoy quantitative analysis and can easily articulate statistical analysis.
  • Experience within a banking or Collections environment would be beneficial.
  • Requires Advanced Excel skills and some exposure to building PowerBI reports. Knowledge and experience in at least one coding language (e.g., R, SQL, Python, C++ etc.,).
  • Team player and enjoys working and contributing to team projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, and confidence to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Creative problem-solving skills along with a growth mind-set to explore and learn new concepts, ideas, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Good with all types of people and able to grow and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and senior leaders.
