Your Role
We are looking for an Early Careers Intern to join our People & Culture team on a part-time, fixed term basis. This role will be based in our Auckland office, and will support the recruitment of our upcoming New Zealand summer internship from attraction right through to offers, this will include assisting with recruitment and selection events, working with managers internally, and communicating with candidates ensuring a world-class candidate experience for all involved.
What You'll Do
- Organize and support the delivery of in-person and virtual recruitment events and serve as a brand ambassador for ZURU.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process via email, phone, and video call, responding to questions and ensuring a world-class candidate experience at every touch point.
- Champion and disseminate ZURU’s unique EVP to candidates at every stage of the recruitment and selection process.
- Assist in the organisation and coordination of assessment centres, manage interview scheduling, and liase with candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and update recruitment databases and systems to reflect the candidate journey, ensuring all notes and outcomes are accurately recorded for each candidate.
What You'll Bring
- Organizational Skills - Strong ability to manage and coordinate multiple recruitment events and processes efficiently.
- Detail-Orientation - Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accurate communication and data management throughout the recruitment process.
- Passion for HR and Recruitment –Ideally studying/ have studied HR or Management and a genuine enthusiasm for talent acquisition and a commitment to providing an outstanding candidate experience.
- Effective Communication - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and proactively with candidates and stakeholders. Having proven communications skills through experience in a customer or candidate-facing role previously would be a plus!
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability - Quick thinker with the ability to resolve issues and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
