Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate private wealth lawyer to join a top tier specialist boutique in Auckland's CBD. This role offers the successful candidate the chance to immerse yourself in high level, complex private wealth work with high net worth clients. Expect to engage in diverse work across trusts, succession planning, and estates, within a supportive and specialist team. This firm offers top tier salaries and the opportunity to learn from leading Partners in the private wealth space. The firm is busy and looking to grow as we look ahead into 2025.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drafting and reviewing trust and estate documentation including Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney documents, Contracting out Agreements, Leases, Trust deeds etc;
  • Assisting the Partner/s with complicated trust restructures and supporting clients to protect their assets;
  • Running matters, liaising directly with clients, banks and others;
  • Contribute to the firm's long-term client relationships.


To be successful in this role you may have:

  • Commitment to excellence;
  • Willingness to engage in diverse work across trusts, succession planning, and estates;
  • 2 + PQE although all applications will be assessed on merit. Whether your background is specifically in private client and trusts work or broader commercial, property or relationship property law, your expertise will be highly valued.
