About Pioneer Manufacturing / Metro Fires:

A local, family owned company that specialises in wood fire development and marketing our brand, Metro Fires, sold through nationwide heating retailers, big-box stores, and smaller plumbing merchants. About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative marketing expert to design and deliver impactful, content across multiple channels, including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, print, and more!

The role involves managing a full range of social media marketing and graphic design functions, ensuring alignment with company goals. Day to day, you will:

  • Dream up creative concepts and layouts for print materials like flyers, brochures, promotional items, signage, catalogues, and manuals, all while nailing print production best practices
  • Craft eye catching designs for brand promotions, product launches, and customer engagement that make an impact
  • Keep our brand looking sharp and consistent across all marketing materials
  • Collaborate on creative concepts for advertising campaigns and exciting new product launches
  • Create scroll stopping social media content that aligns with promotions, trends, and product launches
  • Oversee social media channels and calendars to meet brand objectives
  • Elevate our brand's presence across both digital and print platforms
  • Build awesome relationships with internal teams and external partners, such as printers and media agencies
  • Strengthen the company's social media presence and customer-focused marketing
  • Help grow our social media presence and connect with our customers in fresh, engaging ways


This role can be full-time or part-time, depending on the needs of the ideal candidate.

The ideal Graphic Designer & Digital Marketer:

  • Proven experience designing both print and digital marketing materials
  • Skilled and passionate about graphic design work - this is a must!
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator
  • Experienced in social media management and paid advertising across key platforms, including Facebook and Meta Business Suite
  • Photography and video skills, plus proficiency in the Microsoft suite, are a bonus
  • Passionate about creating and delivering customer focused, inspiring content
  • A time management and planning expert, juggling tight deadlines and ever changing projects like a pro!
  • Customer service or sales experience would be advantageous
  • Strong creativity with a keen eye for detail
  • Customer centric mindset - always thinking like our customer!
  • A collaborative team player who brings a great sense of humour
