Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Yardman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for customer service and forklift use while in the yard, while also delivering building goods in a class 2 vehicle.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain a Class 2 vehicle and forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
- Deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including friendly and courteous interactions with customers.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies, ensuring the safety of oneself and others.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and efficient loading and unloading of goods.

Qualifications:

- Class 2 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Valid F endorsement and OSH certification.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery and paperwork.
- Health and safety conscious, with a strong understanding of safe driving practices.
- Organized and efficient in time management and route planning.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, with excellent communication skills.
