ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join the fun, dynamic, and supportive high-performing Supply Chain team as a Supply Planner, you'll be a key player in our Supply Chain team. Your analytical skills will shine as you develop and execute supply plans for a variety of product categories. You'll collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders with your efforts aimed at sharpening our order fulfilment, inventory management, and supply chain activities, leading to improved profitability. By optimizing inventory levels and ensuring product availability, you'll contribute significantly to the success of our sales and supply chain operations.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in demand and supply planning within a supply chain/FMCG environment.
  • Driving significant improvements in the supply chain process including supply planning, purchasing operations, and distribution according to demand forecasts, considering capacity constraints and material availability.
  • Purchasing products and services with local and international suppliers ensuring optimization of inventory and deliveries.
  • Calculating the materials and components required to manufacture a diverse range of products, and anticipating potential risks, developing contingency plans and proactively supporting strategic and/or complex decisions.
  • Maintaining an accurate item master data records to ensure that productivity, sourcing parameters and workflow continue uninterrupted and without excess cost.
  • Tracking the company’s current inventory, analysing available data from demand planning, inventory reports and other resources and recommending changes to optimize inventory efficiencies.
  • Collaborate and communicate confidently all the WIP and inventory outcomes with internal and external stakeholders as part of the S&OP/IBP process.


ABOUT YOU

  • You instinctively build a strong rapport with a diverse group of stakeholders, and you are an effective communicator who will relish the opportunity to really make your mark in this role. As well as demonstrated experience in a supply planning, demand planning, production planning or a buyer role, you will possess:
  • Proficient knowledge in Supply Chain Planning / ERP systems.
  • Have core foundational knowledge or experience working in an S&OP/IBP environment.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Data Analytics (Power BI & SQL will be an advantage).
  • Extensive experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory management to meet the targets of sales and customer demand.
  • Attention to detail and possess strong analytical skills, with a ‘think outside the box’ approach and diligence in your mathematical and analytical skills.
