Job Description

We are looking for a customer service superstar to join our our small team. You must be responsible, exceptionally well presented and dedicated to providing our guests with the very best customer service experience when welcoming them into our boutique hotel, located in Wellington CBD.

You must possess outstanding communication and organizational abilities and have a solid understanding of general office administration and basic accounting. Some of the tasks you will perform are:

  • Greeting guests
  • Checking guests in and out
  • Receipting payments
  • Replying to emails
  • Using our reservation management system (Seekom)
  • Answering phones,
  • Entering invoices and writing reports.


Good diction and crystal clear communication skills are essential for this position, as we are looking for someone committed to the long term success of our hotel. You will be provided with a corporate uniform.
Helpful system skills you may already have:

  • Seekom PMS
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Xero


In this role, you will be required to work Monday - Friday between 8:00am and 7:30pm, some Saturdays and Sundays 9am – 6pm, these days will be sole charge so you must be reliable and punctual. To be considered for this role you’ll also be required to cover additional shifts as and when required including some public holidays and optional Duty Manager on call shifts.

Your starting rate will be $23.50 per hour.

Applicants must be New Zealand residents or on a working visa.
