Are you forward-thinking and ready for your next career move? RealNZ is looking for a Group Accountant to join our Finance team and help drive success across our business. We're looking for an Accountant who is passionate about tourism, growth, and sustainability—and is dedicated to keeping the numbers on track!

In this role, you'll use your strong commercial and technical accounting skills to drive management and financial reporting and work closely with the business to deliver impactful results. Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you'll assist with monthly management reporting, enable informed commercial decision-making, consolidate and prepare annual Group financial statements, and collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant with a solid technical foundation and commercial experience
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to support and advise teams across the business
  • A creative problem-solver who thinks outside the box
  • Enthusiastic about developing their career in finance


Our Finance team is committed to adding value by partnering with the business, so strong people skills and a genuine interest in our work are essential to success in this role. This is a permanent, full-time position based in either our Queenstown or Te Anau offices.
