Job Description

Join us in the heart of Fiordland, where your culinary skills will shine amidst the unparalleled beauty of Milford Sound. As our chef, you'll find yourself in a galley like no other, surrounded by majestic cliffs, lush forests, and the serene waters of the fiord.

Your passion for cooking will be matched only by your love for the outdoors. Whether it's crafting gourmet meals or exploring the stunning surroundings during your downtime, you'll revel in every moment spent in this breathtaking environment.

But it's not just about the food; it's about the people too. You're a natural team player, thriving in the camaraderie of our crew. Your solution-focused mindset means you're always ready to tackle any challenge that comes your way, and you're more than happy to lend a hand wherever it's needed.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • At least one year Chef experience and/or NZQF Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous catering and food handling experience, including pastry skills (preferred)
  • Proof that you are an awesome team player
  • Strong communication skills Some previous maritime experience would be preferred, but definitely not a must - we provide everyone with full training
