Due to 2 internal promotions, we currently have 2 exciting opportunities for highly ambitious and motivated team players to progress their career in an equally challenging yet exciting roles, in Christchurch.

We spoke with our Senior Partner, who let us know the following about the role:

What does a day in the life of a Business Partner look like?

  • New and existing client meetings in the office or off-site in their business.
  • Proactively developing relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Growing relationships with local professionals and referral networks.
  • Undertaking Business Development activities in your local market and attending relevant events.
  • Working through funding requirements to help our customers grow.
  • Collaborating with a great team to support our customers goals.


What attributes will this person have in order to be successful?

We are looking for someone with a great attitude and desire to contribute to a high performing team!

Ideally you will have existing strong business acumen and business development skills. You may already have an established professional network, or a proven ability to grow a network, in order to acquire new business. You will also have excellent attention to detail and an overwhelming desire to serve our customers brilliantly.

What is the team culture and environment like?

You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team of experienced and high performing Business Partners, allowing you to share knowledge, learn from others and continually grow and develop.

What will success look like for the candidate in this role?

  • Supporting a portfolio of business customers and prospective customers to achieve their growth ambitions.
  • Being a well-rounded contributor, including supporting business development and managing the Banks risk.
