As a Senior Launchmaster, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels. You'll work in partnership with Experience Leads and our Maritime Operations team to ensure that all Launchmasters and crew in Piopiotahi Milford Sound, operate vessels in full compliance with Maritime New Zealand (MNZ) regulations and local body authorities, as well as our own RealNZ guidelines.
Responsible for recruitment, clearances, on-vessel training and day to day operational and asset management of vessels in your area. As the Senior Launchmaster, you will be rostered yourself, with time allowed for the leadership aspects of your role. As a natural born leader, you'll inspire and develop high-performing teams, fostering potential in others and bringing out the best in them.
You'll be adept at managing effectively, problem-solving, and knowing when to escalate or make crucial decisions.
