About the role
Reporting to the Legal Support Director, you will be working closely with partners and their teams on a wide range of administrative and PA duties. We are interested in speaking with candidates who are looking to step into a busy role and high-paced environment, who are self-starters, organised and can build relationships easily with their team.
This role will see you:
- Supporting partners as well as the wider team
- Taking charge of the team’s monthly billing process
- Preparing documentation: Court documents, presentations, reports, statements
- Transcribing digital dictation
- Liaising with clients on behalf of the legal staff; taking phone messages
- A wide range of other administrative and PA duties as required.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- An eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy
- Previous experience with monthly billing
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A positive, “can-do” and enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to be flexible and operate as part of a team
- A proactive approach to your work - the ability to work on tasks unprompted and anticipate needs
- Impeccable time management skills and an ability to prioritise.
