Our client is looking to strengthen their already significant Security Practice through the appointment of a technical security specialist role.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Technical Security Specialist to join a growing team on a permanent basis for our key client. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced security professional with a strong technical background, specializing in security, vulnerability management, SecOps, and incident response. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders, contributing to the continuous improvement of security operations and the overall security posture of the organization.


About You:

  • Proven hands-on experience with strong technical knowledge in security solutions and practices.
  • Expertise in conducting comprehensive security reviews, designing and implementing effective security solutions, and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong ability to identify, assess, and manage vulnerabilities to ensure system integrity and security.
  • In-depth background in Security Operations (SecOps), including day-to-day security monitoring and incident handling.
  • Highly skilled in incident response, including investigation, mitigation, and reporting of security incidents.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, with advanced knowledge in firewall management and configuration, and the ability to perform thorough network security reviews.
  • Good understanding of serverless (lamdas, containers, etc)/cloud infrastructure (AWS & Azure), SasS (Snowflake, Kong etc.,)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder skills
  • Self-directed, well organised, able to prioritise and execute responsibilities through influencing others.
  • CISSP or ideally OSCP
