Job Description

Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician
Location: Auckland West/Central
Pay: $27-$32p/hr

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Alarm Technician with an electrical background to join our growing team. Experience with CCTV and security systems is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in the roading and infrastructure sector.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues related to fire alarms.
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide clear and accurate service reports to clients and supervisors.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of the electrical field.
  • Experience with fire alarm systems and knowledge of related codes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with CCTV and security systems is highly beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for travel to job sites).


Preferred:

  • EWP/WAH
  • Experience with networking and integration of security systems.
