We are looking for an experienced trade qualified automotive technician with franchise dealership experience and a current WOF license to join a franchise dealership in Otago.

The role

  • General servicing
  • Diagnostics and fault finding
  • Minor and major repairs
  • Assisting wherever required in the workshop
  • Explaining repairs to customers when required
  • WOF checks


Requirements

  • Trade qualified automotive technician
  • You MUST have a current WOF license
  • Franchise brand training is a bonus
  • Keen to live and work in Otago - it would be beneficial if you already live in the area or have accommodation available
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Solid diagnostics capability
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a busy, productive workshop
  • Accurate worker with good efficiency
  • Good references



In return

You will be paid a solid hourly rate and have the opportunity to work in a well-appointed workshop in the beautiful Otago region. Rates will vary depending on experience and training - between $32 and $40 per hour
