Position: Gib Fixers/Plasterers & Painters Location: Central Auckland Pay: $27-$32 per hour We are seeking skilled Gib Fixers/Plasterers and Painters to join our team working on a commercial job.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and finish drywall (Gib) to ensure smooth, level surfaces for painting and other finishes
Apply plaster and joint compound to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as required
Sand, smooth, and prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring high-quality finishes
Paint interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a clean and professional look
Repair and patch any damaged surfaces or drywall, ensuring flawless results
Work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Gib Fixer/Plasterer and Painter (minimum 4 years)
NZ qualified or trade certification is a benefit
Proficient in all aspects of gib installation, plastering, and painting
Ability to read and follow plans and specifications
Own tools and transport
