In under 12 months, we've experienced hyper growth, growing from a 1 person band to a 7 person-strong team across New Zealand and Australia and working with category-leading brands across APAC.

We’re now looking for an Intermediate to Senior Shopify Developer to join our talented team and be part of our explosive trajectory.

What you'll do:

As an intermediate to Senior Shopify Developer at Atlas Studios, you’ll:

• Build and Customise Shopify Stores: Develop custom Shopify and Shopify Plus themes, ensuring seamless user experiences across devices.
• Collaborate with Designers, Developers & Strategists: Work closely with our creative and strategy teams to bring designs and ideas to life with clean, scalable code.
• Optimise Performance: Ensure websites are fast, responsive, and aligned with SEO and eCommerce best practices.
• Execute Migrations: Lead and execute site migrations with the broader team, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Implement Custom Features: Build tailored functionalities, custom apps, and third-party integrations to meet unique client needs.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Act as a technical problem-solver and consultant, fixing bugs and maintaining site security.
• Stay Ahead of Trends: Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, tools, and industry trends to continuously enhance your skills and our projects.

What we're looking for:

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. Experience with Shopify’s API, custom app development, and third-party integrations. Experience working in Sprints and Asana is helpful.
• Experience delivering high-impact Shopify Plus projects: Experience working on cross-functional Shopify Plus projects is a must.
• eCommerce Know-How: A strong understanding of eCommerce best practices and the Shopify development environment. We are consultants first, solution providers second.
• Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and independently while delivering secure, robust solutions.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent spoken and written English. Ability to work as part of a hybrid, multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Self-Motivation: A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver high-quality work on time.
