Job Description: Its not often a well rounded Administration roles crops up in Auckland!
Our Client situated Mangere, is a busy transport warehouse looking for an administration.
This role supporting the warehouse and transport manager in their daily tasks and duties.
What does it entail?
Sort consignments to carriers according to geography, time frames and vehicle capacity.
Check and confirm cargo availability
Plan and co-ordinate national deliveries to time frame.
Monitor progress of deliveries and inform those necessary of delays and exceptions.
Liaise with Internal & External clients and carriers to ensure pick ups and deliveries are done in a timely manner to achieve DIFOT.
Ensure all POD’s and other documents are processed and filed in a timely manner.
Support Warehouse Administrator to answer external phone calls.
Support the Warehouse & Transport Management to achieve department KPI’s and Goals
Actively identifying and raising any relevant client processing improvements
Develop and maintain effective relationships with external and internal client base
Ensure you play an active role within their H&S program by complying with all H&S policies and procedures.
What do you need?
A minimum of 1 years experience in an administrative role
Excellent understanding of excel & Microsoft packages
Be customer centric always looking for a resolution
Great attention to detail
The ability to chip in and help
A great sense of humour!
