Our client is seeking a Professional Support Lawyer to join their firm. This role offers the opportunity to work with their national commercial team. What you'll do:
As a Professional Support Lawyer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our client's legal practice. You will manage precedent content, evaluate the needs of the practice group, stay up-to-date with legal developments, and deliver in-house training. Your expertise in commercial law will be essential as you support staff with technical legal queries and ensure the effective communication of legislative changes.
- Organise and update existing precedent content, as well as create new precedents
- Evaluate the needs of the practice group and develop best practice documentation and procedures
- Monitor and analyse legal developments, research legal points, and assist staff with technical legal enquiries
- Identify training needs and deliver in-house sessions on key topics for teams at all experience levels (from graduates to senior lawyers and partners)
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Professional Support Lawyer role will be an experienced commercial lawyer who thrives in a large-firm environment, free from the pressures of billing. Your proactive attitude and ability to work independently will be essential for success in this position. You will have a strong focus on fostering knowledge-sharing across the firm, managing and enhancing the precedents collection, and ensuring effective communication of legislative updates.
- At least 7 years’ post qualification experience in commercial law
