Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

Acclaimed 2-Hat modern Indian restaurant Cassia is run by renowned Chef and restauranteur Sid Sahrawat. We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the well established team. The role is a full time, 40 hours a week rotating roster between Monday - Sunday. You will be responsible for:

  • Assist in the maximisation of the Restaurant's profitability by participating in menu planning and the budgeting and re-forecasting process.
  • Maximise customer satisfaction by ensuring that staff have the appropriate training required.
  • Lead, develop and motivate staff to improve service delivery and restaurant profitability by owning the recruitment, development and performance of staff.


Mōu | About You

You'll be passionate about hospitality and have a knack for leading by example and cultivating a driven and cohesive team;

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in F&B essential with at least 2 years' experience at a management level
  • Proven experience in the management and training of staff
  • Comprehensive wine and beverage knowledge, including wine and food matching
  • GM Certificate
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting cost controls and P&L's.
