We have multiple opportunities available for experienced Business Partners in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW). In this role you will make a significant impact in ensuring a safe work environment for all kaimahi.

You will collaborate with our HSW experts to develop and implement strategic HSW plans, drive change, and provide support and advice. Your ability to lead and embed these changes in a variety of improvement programmes and provide audit and assurance support to the wider organisation will be highly valued.

This role sits amongst a large team of other highly skilled professionals in the People, Safety and Wellbeing team and reports directly to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager.

He kōrero mōu: About you
Your knowledge of health, safety, and ACC legislation, combined with your familiarity with current best practices, sets you apart. With your sound understanding and practical application of modern HSW practices (Human Organisational Performance, Safety Design, Safety II etc) along with your track record of verification and auditing adds value to your profile.

For further guidance you should have:

  • At least 7 years’ operational HSW experience in a similar role within a medium-large or complex organisation.
  • Tertiary degree in Health and Safety Management or similar tertiary qualification as recognised by NZISM.
  • Registration as an accredited health and safety professional with a HASANZ organisation, such as NZISM

You will ideally possess the necessary qualifications and expertise for this role as per the position description, however, we also encourage you to apply if you have a New Zealand Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety Management (Level 6) or equivalent, combined with your experience in the industry and are looking for your next career step!
