About the role:
We are looking for Casual Retail Assistant to join our team at Gisborne Hospital. This is a casual position on an as and when required basis, dependent on business needs.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
In this position you will be responsible for;
Delivering an upbeat and professional customer service
Providing a warm, friendly and welcoming ambiance for our customers
Basic food preparation and presentation, stock control, cash handling, making coffees
Assisting in general kitchen duties
In addition, assisting and maintaining general cleaning and food hygiene duties
He kōrero mōu / About you:
If you're our ideal candidate;
You will be hard working, with a friendly, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
Ideally you will have at least 1 years' experience in the food industry and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be happy to train for one.
Along with your superior customer service skills, you will need to have the ability to work confidently both individually and with a team
Most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality!
