We’re looking for a Checkout Operator to join our Woolworths The Valley team

About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

  • Face to face customer service at checkouts
  • Manage cash and EFTPOS payments
  • Help our customers by being knowledgeable about our products and services in our store
  • Help us stick to the rules around the sale of age restricted goods, such as tobacco and alcohol
  • Assist customers through our self-service checkouts


In this customer-focused role we are looking for our new team member that

  • Understands good customer service.
  • Help us make customer first decisions aligned to our processes and systems
  • Work well within our team and communicate effectively
  • A willingness to work on your feet for the duration of your shift
  • A friendly smile and welcoming attitude


This is a casual Checkout Operator position and we ask for flexibility across a 7 day roster, you may be called at short notice to cover shifts for the team roster.
