Responsibilities
- Plan and execute construction projects from start to finish
- Read and interpret drawings
- Ensure adherence to local building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Communicate effectively with management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a builder/hammer hand in a similar role for a minimum of at least 2 years
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks
- Valid driver's license
- Ideally you will also have some roofing experience
