Tradestaff Wellington – Commercial Carpenter Needed for Wellington Airport Project

Are you an experienced commercial carpenter with leadership skills? Tradestaff Wellington has an exciting opportunity for a skilled carpenter to join a prestigious project at Wellington Airport.

Position: Commercial Carpenter/Leading hand
Location: Wellington Airport
Start Date: Immediate (or very near future)
Duration: Ongoing (Long-term project)
Rate: Competitive based on experience

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced builder to take charge of a crew of four skilled tradespeople on a high-profile commercial construction project. As the lead carpenter, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe and productive site. Leadership experience is essential, and we are seeking someone who can provide guidance, manage tasks, and ensure the project progresses smoothly.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a commercial carpenter

  • LBP (Licensed Building Practitioner) qualifications highly desirable
