Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  • Mix paints and other materials to achieve the desired colour and texture for each project.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and consistency, ensuring all specifications are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to understand project requirements and deliver outstanding results.
  • Stay updated on the latest painting techniques, tools, and materials to continuously improve skills.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a painter, especially in a construction setting or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of painting materials and techniques, as well as safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and work in various conditions.
  • Valid driver's license required.
