The ASB Commercial Banking team look after middle-market business customers and are committed to providing the best business offering to New Zealand. This team helps customers realise their goals through getting to know their businesses and understanding their needs.

Te tūranga | The role:

As a Commercial Manager you will manage and drive a high-value Commercial Banking customer portfolio while also identifying, developing and acquiring new-to-bank business. You'll make your mark through growing successful relationships with customers and developing a strong network of contacts to draw on and leverage. You'll assist your customers in achieving their financial goals - in providing simple solutions for their business across a range of banking products and services, while balancing profitability and providing protection for operational and credit risk.

This role is based in ASB's Regional Centre at Sylvia Park.

Your relationship and people skills coupled with an innovative approach will see you build credibility with your customers and make your mark in the industry. You will have proven experience within the commercial banking space with demonstrated outcomes in new business acquisition, and you'll know how to effectively develop and manage successful customer relationships.

As this role has direct reports, you will be a natural leader and mentor with a passion for developing others.
