Job Description

Geneva Healthcare seeks to appoint the services of a motivated and committed Physiotherapist join our talented Community Allied Health team in Wellington and Wairarapa

Caseload includes functional/ musculoskeletal based assessments, acute rehabilitation, chronic disease management, improving mobility and function, falls prevention and management, chronic pain management and subacute rehabilitation.

Key Achievements of Role

  1. Complete service plans/ reviews for our homecare clients under our contracts with ACC, DHB, MOH. Provide Physiotherapy Services in response to IHCS referrals for assessment and rehabilitation. These services are provided in a culturally safe manner, within the scope of the relevant contracts and support the client and funder to meet their identified objectives.
  2. Complete high quality relevant reporting as per funder contract requirements and organizational reporting standards
  3. Support a client’s relevant network during service delivery e.g. family / whanau, employment representatives and primary health providers.
  4. Participate in team, multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary forums
  5. Contribute to clinical review/audit and development processes as requested
  6. Complete assessment and interventions within scope of practice, from a person/whanau centred approach and meeting contractual requirements as agreed with line manager


What we are looking for

  • Registration with Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand.
  • Preferably have at least 2 years physio experience (less experience will still be considered).
  • Availability to work 3-5days per week
  • Positive can do attitude ands willingness to learn
  • Be a team player who enjoys working, building and expanding collaboratively.
