Keywords: Risk Management, Compliance, Data Analysis, E-Learning Content Development, Record Management Our client is seeking an hourly rate Business Assurance Advisor to join their team in Wellington for three months. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialised support to the Business Assurance Unit by developing e-learning modules, conducting transaction compliance audits, and streamlining internal processes. The successful candidate will have proven experience in risk management, compliance, data analysis, and e-learning content development. They will also possess strong organisational and record management skills.

What you'll do:

As a Business Assurance Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing specialised support to the Business Assurance Unit. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing e-learning modules on key topics, designing and conducting Unusual Transaction Analysis (UTA) Process Design and Documentation, and developing a structured framework for ongoing site compliance audits. You will also be responsible for organising and tidying up the Business Assurance Unit's record management system, as well as addressing and clearing the backlog of Conflict of Interest declarations.

  • Develop content for e-learning modules on key topics such as Risk Awareness, Conflict of Interest (COI), Gifts & Hospitality, and Integrity Framework
  • Design and conduct Unusual Transaction Analysis (UTA) Process Design and Documentation
  • Develop a structured framework for ongoing site compliance audits
  • Provide documentation and tools to support the sustainability of audit processes
  • Conduct post audit reviews to ensure that recommendations previously agreed by business groups have been followed-up on a timely basis
  • Organise and tidy up the Business Assurance Unit's record management system
  • Address and clear the backlog of Conflict of Interest declarations


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Assurance Advisor role will bring at least 3 years experience in risk management, compliance, and data analysis. They will have experience in developing e-learning content and working with Capability Development Teams to deploy the e-learning modules to all staff. They will also possess strong organisational and record management skills. Knowledge of internal controls and compliance work such as Conflict of Interest management, Gifts & Hospitality and unusual transaction analysis is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required along with strong relationship management skills.
