About the role:

As a Caregiver, you will support our daily classroom routines and assist in lesson delivery, helping to create engaging, child-led learning experiences. You will engage with our tamariki in a positive, patient, and encouraging manner. While formal teaching qualifications are not required, we are looking for someone with a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the development of young children. Any previous experience or enthusiasm for this field would be advantageous. We are a flexible and collaborative team, so we’d love for you to be open to professional development opportunities and adaptable in how we function as a team.

This is a part time school hour opportunity, but flexibility to work extra hours might be required from time to time.

Here’s what you’ll do on a day-to day basis:

  • Provide amazing care and education to our tamariki
  • Champion the team spirit and engage in activities that empower and extend tamariki’s learning
  • Fully participate in centre activities across all classrooms and cover staff breaks where necessary
