AWF are actively seeking applicants who have a 'Can Do Attitude' who aren't afraid to get stuck in and step up to work as a Recycling Sorter. This role is fast paced and attention to detail is crucial, however, you will be given full training on the job and work alongside a supportive and fun team.
This role is Monday - Friday with the occasional weekend requirement, they are also operational on Public Holidays (excl. Christmas Day). Hours of work are 0700 - 1630.
What will you need:
- A holder of a Class 1 Driver licence is an advantage, but not essential
- Fit for work and able to lift 25kg and upwards as well as be able to copy with the motion of a conveyor belt
- Organised and punctual
- A good team player, flexible, initiative and work well in a safe manner
- Strong health and safety focus to keep yourself and others safe on sites
- Reliability including reliable transport to get yourself to and from work daily
- Keenness to get stuck in and get the job done
- Positive attitude as you will encounter the public and contractors on a daily basis
In addition to these you will be required to undertake a pre employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal history check as well as have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
