Job Description

Logistics Assistant
Our client is a New Zealand-owned and operated company specialising in geosynthetic product solutions. They are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Assistant to join their team in Islington.

This is a full-time, office-based position: Monday to Friday (8.00am-5.00pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient management of freight operations
  • Track, investigate, and provide updates on freight shipments
  • Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring accurate and timely handling of all freight-related tasks
  • Coordinate transport bookings and logistics arrangements
  • Assist in processing freight claims for damaged, lost, or delayed shipments


Applicants need:

  • Proven experience in a similar logistics role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Reliable personal transport
