We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer at the Senior Consultant level to join our AI & Data team at EY in Christchurch. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data science, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions to complex business problems in a consulting environment. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in leading projects, mentoring junior team members, and driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI and data strategies for our clients.

- Lead and manage AI and data projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored AI and data solutions that drive value and achieve strategic objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced analytics models, machine learning algorithms, and AI solutions to solve complex business problems.
- Conduct data analysis, data mining, and data visualization to uncover insights and support decision-making processes.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Have a degree in Data Science or similar.
- Ideal but not essential would-be practical knowledge with one or more of the following; Snowflake, Informatica or DBT.
- A minimum of 6 years relevant experience.
- Be Christchurch based or willing to relocate to Chirstchurch.
