About the Role
We are currently looking for a Plastic Injection Moulding Operator / Supervisor to join our production site in Kopu.
We are currently in the process of relocating machinery from our current Whanganui facility to a brand new new custom built facility in Kopu at the end of February.
You will be responsible for operating injection moulding machines, making adjustments, troubleshooting problems and monitoring systems.
While prior experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, we are also offering full training for the right candidate.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication skills - written and spoken
- Computer literate
- An eye for detail
- Problem solving / Trouble Shooting / Root Cause Analysis skills
- Capable of following instructions and working without supervision
- Excellent organisational ability and time-management skills
- A reasonable level of physical fitness as some heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time is required
This role is a full time position. Once training is completed, this will be a sole charge, night shift position (5:00pm to 2:00am Monday to Friday).
A relocation allowance will be offered to the right candidate looking to move to the area.
