Job Description

Position Overview
Join our dedicated Campus Services Team at Massey University’s Manawatū Campus! We are seeking a CampusCare Assistant to support a wide range of essential functions, including:

  • Furniture relocation
  • Cleaning, waste disposal, and recycling
  • Mail sorting and delivery
  • Logistic support
  • Pest control
  • Emergency management
  • Event support


Your efforts will play a vital role in ensuring positive campus experiences for our students, staff, and visitors.

About You
We are looking for someone with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Facilities management
  • Furniture moving
  • Emergency management or civil defence


Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Current First Aid certificate (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Experience in emergency management, civil defence, or security
  • Previous experience in a trade-related role
  • Demonstrated customer service experience (essential)
  • Relevant experience in traffic enforcement desirable
  • Full current driver’s license (essential)
