As a Disability Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals with high, complex needs to achieve their goals and aspirations. This dynamic position involves hands-on interaction, fostering trusting relationships with clients and their families, and facilitating engaging activities within our vocational program.
- This role is permanent part time – Monday & Thursday 8:30am -3:30pm
- We also have a fixed term 1 year mat leave cover role available, permanent full-time hours | 8:30am – 4:30pm – including a company car for work purposes only.

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:
- Advocacy and mediation skills
- Experience in disability support and working with high complex needs clients.
- Cultural sensitivity and willingness to promote opportunities for Māori and Pasifika
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of New Zealand Sign Language (preferred but not required)
- Willing to plan daily activities, greet clients, engage with them directly in activities, and provide support with toileting and feeding as needed
