This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career as a Transmission Line Mechanic, gaining qualifications and learning the skills that will enable you to provide quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
Level 1 NCEA passes in English and Maths
Current class 1 driver’s licence with clean record
Competent verbal and written communication skills
Physical stamina to carry out manual work, often in trying conditions
An electrical background or interest i.e. completion of a pre-trades course would be an advantage
