About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga

This is a part-time Physiotherapist position with the Wellness and Rehabilitation team at Geneva Healthcare. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary allied health team, focused on achieving the best health outcomes for our whanāu and community. A contract option is possible for the right candidate.

You will have the opportunity to be a part of our client’s rehabilitation journey and see the results of your work. You’ll be working in schools, homes, businesses and the wider community so we are looking for a candidate who gets a real kick out of collaboration and supporting client’s across their recovery.

The successful candidate will be required to travel across the Gisborne region so you will need to be comfortable driving and have a full clean NZ drivers licence.

What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga

• Current NZ Registration with Physiotherapy Board NZ
• Experience in, or a passion to develop skills in rehabilitation and concussion services. While this would be suited to someone with experience, we are very open to consider candidates returning to the workforce, or as new graduates!
• Understanding of, and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Passion to continue to learn and grow
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• An awareness of Health Legislation and the NZ health funding systems
