They are currently hunting for experienced heavy machine operators, these machines consist of compactors, tractors, rollers, diggers, and loaders. Requirements:
- 1-3 years of proven experience as a heavy machine operator
- Minimum of a Full Class 1 NZ Driver’s License
- Ability to perform physical demanding tasks
- W, T, R and F endorsements are advantageous
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment checks
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Experience highly desirable in drain laying/laying pipe
Responsibilities:
- Operating heavy machinery according to safety guidelines
- Prepare sites for construction or excavation by clearing land, digging trenches, and grading surfaces
- Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications
- Load, transport and unload materials such as earth, rocks, and other construction supplies
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sites and equipment.
- General labouring may be required from time to time
