Job Description

OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading provider of temporary and permanent staff to industrial clients across the Taranaki region.

Our client, a family-owned business established in 1980, has built a strong reputation in the industry. With exciting projects lined up for 2025, we are looking for skilled operators experienced in earthworks, underground services, and deep trench excavation to join their team.

We are seeking all-rounder operators with W, T, R endorsements who are confident working across various machinery and site tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience operating heavy machinery - including front loaders, excavators, and rollers
  • Ability to perform labour-intensive tasks - must not be shovel-shy!
  • Understanding of safe and correct machinery use
  • Attention to detail and knowledge of road construction processes


What You Need to Work with OneStaff:

  • Physically strong and fit
  • Valid ID (Passport OR NZ Birth Certificate & Driver's License)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
  • Reliable transport
  • Updated CV and relevant certifications (e.g., forklift license, Site Safe passport)
