Job Description

We are a family business of 29+ years and are looking for the next key member of our kitchen team.

Looking for a Chef to join our team! Previous experience with pizza/pasta preferred, but full training will be provided

Must have 3 years experience or equivalent qualifications and current NZ work visa.

Pay negotiable between $25 - $35 Hour depending on qualifications and experience

Duties of a Chef

  • Preparation and presentation of Etrusco's food consistently and efficiently.
  • Good problem solving and docket management skills.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and manageable section.
  • Ordering food supplies.
  • Managing kitchen staff including accuracy in timesheets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Food Control Plan (FCP).
  • Have a keen eye for detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a tight knit team.
  • Knife skills
  • Cleaning as per cleaning schedule and general cleaning
  • Quality control and stock rotation.
  • Safe operation and cleaning of kitchen equipment.


Open 7 days a week from 5:30pm on so no split shifts.

Hours available are full time. 30 Hours minimum up to 55 Hours on rare busy weeks.
