Due to growth in the region, and exciting potential upcoming opportunities, we are currently seeking expressions of interest for an HVAC Technician to be based at Waikeria Prison.
About the Role:
The successful applicants will be integrated into a diverse trades team specialising in Plumbing, Electrical, and Carpentry/Handyman services. Your work will entail a balanced mix of reactive maintenance tasks and minor project implementations, allowing for a dynamic and varied daily experience.
You will work closely with your team members and other departments, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Strong communication skills will be essential as you will be required to liaise with clients and stakeholders, updating them on progress and addressing any queries they may have.
Our ideal candidates will be proactive and detail-oriented, able to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations that enhance service delivery. You will have the chance to engage in various training sessions aimed at not only improving your trades skills but also developing your leadership capabilities if you are looking to advance into managerial positions.
