Job Description

The Company

My client is a successful multi-disciplinary consultancy. They provide a range of services across planning, engineering and surveying.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Intermediate Planner to join their business. The company prides itself on a family like environment with employee well-being at its core.

The Role

  • Work on a wide variety of interesting and diverse projects including small to large scale infrastructure projects, resource management, industrial development and more.
  • Provide expertise on complex planning and resource management issues for a broad range of clients and industry.
  • Preparation of Resource Consents applications for Council, across a range of different land use and subdivision activities.
  • Support to senior staff when preparing complex consent applications and submissions.
  • Preparation of development potential, feasibility studies and due diligence assessments.


About You

  • 2 years + New Zealand experience
  • NZPI Membership or working towards
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Planning, Resource Management or similar
  • Good report wiring skills
  • Knowledge and experience in relevant legislation
  • Good communications skills and a positive attitude
