The Role:
Join our fun, hardworking legendary team at PlaceMakers Queenstown and help us to provide exceptional customer services by making sure our customers receive their deliveries in full and on time every time.

Daily you would be responsible for:

  • Co-ordinating the out-going hiab's for deliveries to ensure efficiency of load and time
  • Working with the picking team to ensure correct priority of orders being picked
  • Delighting our customers with your exceptional service and 'can do' attitude
  • Communicating with all internal and external customers so that everyone is ahead of the game
  • Assisting the drive-thru & yard team when necessary, loading/unloading trucks, pulling orders
  • Checking all outgoing deliveries for accuracy and load safety
  • Problem solving, being agile and thinking on your feet to meet changing customer needs
  • Planning deliveries in advance and anticipating any issues that may arise


About you:
You will play a lead role in ensuring our loyal customers are given the upmost care and service. In this role your excellent organisational skills will assist you and your team mates to provide exceptional service to our customers. To be successful you will be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers by being solutions focused.

  • Must have exceptional customer services skills
  • Must have full clean class 1 driver licence (or higher)
  • Experience with dispatch or common building materials is an advantage
  • Excellent computer and numeracy skills will be required
  • Strong Planning and Organisational Skills are a must and should be balanced with the ability to respond quickly to 'curve balls' and adapt the plan to suit.
  • Must have a strong health and safety focus. Safety is a core value for our company, so it is essential that you take safety seriously and have the drive to use safe practices within the workplace.
