Casual Retail Assistant Jobs in New Zealand

Set up/pack down marquees & work at a variety of upcoming events, based around Christchurch.

You will be required to assist with:

• Physical labouring & heavy lifting
• Installing, setting up and dismantling marquees
• Installing temporary fences and flooring
• Dealing with waste and rubbish
• Litter picking (clear waste from ground) and keeping the event site clean
• Waste sorting (cans, plastics, cardboard, organics etc)
• General labouring as required
• We have shifts available each day of the week; Monday to Sunday. Start times and locations vary and therefore all availability will be considered. No previous experience required!

Some of the locations are not accessible by public transport, so having your own reliable car is an absolute must!

Successful applicants must:

• Be comfortable with heavy lifting
• Have good communication skills
• Be reliable

Please note a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice criminal conviction history check is part of the recruitment process.

We will only accept applicants who are currently residing in New Zealand with the appropriate work or residency visa.
