The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

You will be a part of our CLS enhanced mobile team working alongside peer support workers and support workers. We support tangata whai ora living independently in the community including supporting to find suitable housing and with medication support

This is a permanent, full-time role. You will be working 40 hours per week, Tuesday – Saturday, 1pm – 9:30pm, Based in Manukau, Auckland.

You | Mōu: 
We are interested to hear from peers with a period of wellness and work in a recovery-focused way.

You’ll also have:

• A current Peer Employment Training or Intentional Peer Support Training
• Completion of WRAP training, including WRAP at work
• A New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent. Alternatively, you will commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with Pathways. This needs to be completed within two years of commencement. Pathways offer significant support for support workers to complete this study.
• Knowledge of the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers’ Rights
• An understanding of and commitment to the principles of recovery
• Lived experience of mental illness
• Knowledge of mental health and NGO sector development
• Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi
